Camille Hudson

Camille Hudson

4685 Hollywood Boulevard, Los Angeles, CA 90027 | (323) 953-0377

When I sat down to write about Camille Hudson, I wasn't sure where to start really. I'm still not sure I know where to start, but here it goes anyway. Camille Hudson opened her store seven years ago and has been in the same location on Hollywood Boulevard ever since. The store brings on labels no other store in the United States carries as well as lesser known brands. Simplicity is the idea behind Camille Hudson. MORE »

NewStyleWeb

NewStyleWeb

1041 North LaBrea Avenue, Inglewood, CA 90302 | (310) 887-5607

Of all the stores we hit up in the Los Angeles area, NewStyleWeb might take top prize in the Most Abundant Choice of Color category. Every color under the sun was represented from shoes and handbags to dresses and jewelry, and walking in you couldn't help but smile with so much vibrancy all around you. Owner Kerry Newsome gave us another reason to smile. His energy and passion for fashion, namely shoes, but not excluding clothing and other accessories too, was so infectious that Morgan and I left loving him and his store. MORE »

Footcandy

Footcandy 11934 San Vicente Blvd Brentwood, CA 90049 | (310) 820-4800

Upon entering Footcandy in Brentwood, words like ‘fabulous', ‘breathtaking', and ‘dreamy' immediately come to mind. You may also find yourself thinking thoughts like ‘Can I stay here forever?', and we advise you to avoid the frenzied movements your head will want to make while trying to look at everything at once in order to avoid whiplash. We should also warn you that this may prove difficult.

Footcandy is a dream come true for women who love beautiful shoes, especially when these shoes can be found in such lovely surroundings. All the big names like Manolo, Christian, Jimmy, and Emilio are here. Missoni and Hollywould, too. Oh, and how could we forget Loeffler Randall, Siegerson Morrison, Kate Spade and even newbies like LAMB? In other words, this is truly shoe heaven. MORE »

Remix

Remix Vintage Shoes7605 ½ Beverly Boulevard Los Angeles, CA 90036 | (888) 254-1813

Remix is truly a store like no other, something that can't be said about the shoes. That's not a knock, it's only because most of Remix's shoes are remakes of popular vintage styles from the 1920's through the 1970's but with added comfort and updated to suit a modern girl's taste.

As we all know, there's nothing truly new in footwear so you can actually find just about anything here. These aren't the shoes that are collecting dust in your grandmother's closet by any means. Slingback wedges with peep-toes in lime greens and cherry reds sit side by side with classic pointed toe pumps. MORE »

Madison

MadisonM106 S Robertson Blvd Los Angeles, CA 90048 | (310) 275-1930

While Madison's focus is on the chic clothes, it certainly has a respectable lineup of shoes located at the back of the store that are worth making a pit stop for. Who knows, you may even bump into a celebrity or two since the store is located on Robertson Blvd, a hip shopping hotspot in LA. (This is a hint as to the quality of merchandise you'll find here, and the prices!)

The majority of styles are from top-notch designers like YSL, Giuseppe Zanotti, Dolce & Gabbana, Givenchy, and Marc Jacobs but you can find some trendy and mid-priced options as well. MORE »

Whatever Lola Wants

Whatever Lola Wants

834 North LaBrea Avenue, Los Angeles, CA | (323) 461-3155

I've never seen the musical the Damn Yankees or the film for that matter. I've never seen the movie Kinky Boots, although I might put it on my long list of things to see… it's about footwear after all. But I have heard the song featured in both called Whatever Lola Wants. And now I can say I've been to the store. Whatever Lola Wants is a boudoir style boutique on North LaBrea in Los Angeles catering to regular customers and stylists alike. MORE »

Diavolina

Diavolina, Beverly Hills

156 South Robertson Boulevard, Los Angeles, CA 90048 | (310) 550-1341

As Morgan and I ventured out to Beverly Hills in search of a few specific boutiques, we were pleasantly surprised when we came across a few gems that were not on our list. Upon making our way to an actual planned stop on our trip we stumbled upon Diavolina. Actually, from across the street the shiny gold mannequins in the store windows caught our eye and then we immediately noticed the shoes on their feet. A quick check of our agenda confirmed this was definitely not on our list, but certainly a welcomed detour. MORE »
