RUNNING WITH CELEBS: Selena Gomez at the Oscars
Young loves, Selena Gomez and Justin Bieber, made their red carpet debut last night at the Vanity Fair Oscar Party held at Sunset Towerread more

Last night’s 85th Academy Awards was a mixed bag of slam dunks and major misses on the red carpet. Who did it right, and who will have better luck next year? Check out our round up below.
THE BEST
Jessica Chastain was the epitome of old Hollywood glam in a blush Armani Privé beaded dress and Harry Winston jewels. The Best Actress nominee kept her hair soft with flowing curls and gave her look the perfect pop of color with a bright red lip.
Amy Adams wowed in a silvery-blue Oscar de la Renta gown adorned with a beaded bodice and full tulle skirt. The Best Supporting Actress nominee opted for simple jewelry and a classic up-do to show off her porcelain skin.

Naomi Watts’ sparkling gunmetal asymmetric Armani Privé fitted gown highlighted her flawless physique. The Best Supporting Actress nominee wore Neil Lane jewels and by her side was one of our favorite accessories of the evening: husband Liev Schreiber.
Kerry Washington opted for a chic Miu Miu coral dress with a beaded corset and built in belt that accentuated her tiny waist. The Django Unchained star flashed some serious bling in Chopard earrings and a Fred Leighton ring.
Stacey Keibler looked sinfully goodin a formfitting Naeem Khan studded dress inspired by the art deco movement. The television host and Clooney arm candy opted for retro hair and makeup, and Lorraine Schwartz jewels for a final touch of sparkle.

THE WORST
Zoe Saldana’s Alexis Mabille Couture dress was a look we wanted to love, but kept us a bit confused. The belt was an unconventional choice, which we applaud, but the hem exposure of multi-layered tulle looked messy. It’s too bad, because the bodice on it’s own was perfection. Zoe accessorized with Neil Lane jewelry, and Roger Vivier shoes.
Amanda Seyfried looked pretty in Alexander McQueen, but the white-grey tone and full train were a bit too bridal. We were hoping the actress would opt for something more daring and youthful, a la her look at the 2011 Academy Awards. If anyone can pull off high fashion, it’s this girl. The keyhole and overall look of the dress was a bit too matronly.

Anne Hathaway may have won an Oscar last night for her work in Les Miserables, but her blush Prada dress did not win us over. The dress was ill fitting and a bit too similar to Gwyneth Paltrow’s look from the 1999 Oscars. This was Anne’s moment, and we wish she had taken it with a bit more glamour, and a little less David’s Bridal.
Reese Witherspoon is someone we love seeing on the red carpet, but we weren’t loving her cobalt blue and black Louis Vuitton gown. We understand that being a new mom is hard, but the ensemble left us underwhelmed as Reese kept her entire look on the safe side.
Helena Bonham Carter has sadly been on the worst dressed list many times before. We understand that the Les Miserables actress has an eclectic sense of style, but along with her hair, her tiered Vivienne Westwood dress looked a bit messy.
