H&M Fall/Winter 2013 Fashion Show

H&MLast night H&M debuted its anticipated Fall/Winter 2013 collections during Paris Fashion Week on the elegant grounds of Musée Rodin.

In a show styled by George Cortina, 35 models strutted the catwalk in standouts including a tailored black overcoat, sharp black trousers, and a big mohair sweater. Most looks, which sometimes bared the model’s knees, were punctuated by knee-high boots.

H&M Head of Design Ann-Sofie Johannson described the show as “Modern drama with a bit of tailoring, and uniform inspiration and a sort of certain tomboy spirit there. We wanted it to be sort of effortless and cool and a little bit of attitude.”

Notable attendees included Chloe Moretz, Emma Roberts, Melissa George and Jessica Stam. Following the show actress Virginie Ledoyen, exclaimed “It’s great to be able to see a show with clothes that you can buy!” And she’s right – the collection hits stores worldwide and online on September 5, 2013.
