With New York Fashion Week looming only weeks away, designers are hunkering down to put the finishing touches on their collections and fine tune the details of their shows. One of our favorite ladies of Lincoln Center who always wows us, especially with her bold colors choices, is Tracy Reese, who sent over this sketch as a teaser to her runway show in the tents on Sunday, February 10.
Said to be inspired by the beauty and harshness of the city that is New York, we can expect to see a collection of long skirts, luxurious outerwear, hourglass dresses and sweater tunics anchored in a black color palette. Scarlet and teal accents will add a hint of drama and romanticism to rich textures like velvet and textured patent. Oh, and the shoes? Think black, flat, closed-toe booties for modern ease.
Check out our review of Tracy’s Fall 2012 collection, and see what she has in store for Spring here.
