As if you need an excuse to flaunt your favorite red apparel or shoes, we’d like to give you an obligation to show it off. To raise awareness for heart disease in women, one-stop fashion online destination theFashionSpot has partnered up with The Heart Truth to launch the “Show Us Your Red” campaign.

National Wear Red Day is this Friday, February 1, 2013, and now until then, theFashionSpot wants to see your amazing red everything (shoes, tops, dresses, scarves, even nails!) in order to show support for women’s heart health. Upload your street style pic on Instagram with hashtag #TFSWearRed, and you’ll be entered for a chance to attend The Heart Truth’s Red Dress CollectionSM 2013 Fashion Show. (In order to win entrants must fill out information at thefashionspot homepage as well as Show Us Your Red custom destination).

The Red Dress Collection Fashion Show will be presented at the start of New York Fashion Week on February 6, 2013. In a press release, Managing Editor for theFashionSpot Jennifer Davidson said, “It’s a true honor for theFashionSpot to once again be chosen as a media partner for The Heart Truth®, and we can’t wait to see what sort of ‘red’ our readers will come up with this year.”
