This season, UGG® Australia is pulling out all the stops to keep you from getting cold feet. Whether you’re braving a snowy tundra or taking a long distance walk through campus or city streets of slosh, slush and snow, there’s a new silhouetted UGG boot on the market that you’re going to want to get your feet in. Teaming up with HOKA, the brand introduces the “Ultra” collection featuring technology to make your feet impervious to any harsh conditions.
The Ultra collection features six styles for men and women that employ soles developed with HOKA technology, which was developed by two long-distance runners who got their start making trail running shoes that lessen impact, soreness and fatigue for the wearer. Boots from this collection use this technology (exclusively licensed to UGG® Australia) and are characterized by an oversized-silhouette meant to reduce shock from impact, as well as reduce any uncertain stepping caused by uneven surfaces. HOKA outsoles also incorporate a rolling motion to give its wearer the most energy efficient stride as possible, as well as providing its wearer with a 35% wider platform to enhance stability.
The shoes might look heavy but it’s promised that they’re actually pretty lightweight—we had the chance to pick up and hold the pairs on display at the UGG® Australia launch party. And given the superior comfort UGG® Australia always has to offer, you can bet that these top-tier cold weather shoes are a pleasure to walk around in.
View the collection here or pick up a pair for yourself at select UGG Australia flagships nationwide.
