Flowers won’t be the only thing popping up this Spring. As a steadfast supporter of the CFDA/VOGUE Fashion Fund, Nordstrom will be opening pop-up shops across the country showcasing designs from the year’s 10 Fashion Fund finalists.
Each of the pop-up shops will feature a specially curated selection of merchandise from the top 10 finalists: Andrea Lieberman of A.L.C.; Greg Armas of Assembly New York; Sofia Sizzi, of Giulietta; Justin Salguero, Daniel Silberman, and Alina Silberman of Illesteva; Jennifer Fisher of Jennifer Fisher Jewelry; Jennifer Meyer Maguire of Jennifer Meyer; Max Osterweis and Erin Beatty of Suno; Tabitha Simmons of Tabitha Simmons; Greg Chait of The Elder Statesman; and Wes Gordon of Wes Gordon.
Expect the collections to hit 5 Nordstrom brick and mortar locations, as well as Manhattan’s Treasure & Bond in February 2013. The shops will open in Seattle, San Francisco, Los Angeles (The Grove), Chicago, and Dallas (Northpark).
Of the partnership, CFDA chief executive officer Steven Kolb said, “It is a great opportunity for our 10 designers to have presence in-store with a major retailer, and this will give their collections great exposure to a broader audience. Nordstrom has been a long-supporter of the CFDA/Vogue Fashion Fund and we are excited to bring our partnership to the next level,” according to a press release.
