Francisco Costa Brings Calvin Klein to Macy’s with a Brazilian Twist

When we heard that Francisco Costa for Calvin Klein is the headlining collection for Macy’s Brazil: A Magical Journey promotion we were surprised. You won’t see anything too vibrant, tropical or summery here. Instead, Costa took his inspiration from his homeland’s architecture, creating a collection of architectural crepe and jersey dresses in Calvin Klein’s signature neutral shades of black, gray and butter yellow that is anything but expected.

If you look past the decidedly bland coloration, however, what you’ll find is a capsule collection that is so classic and refined, we can see ourselves wearing it for years to come. The super simple short sleeve shifts and wrap dresses (which range in price from $135-$180) carry a Brazilian ease and sensuality mixed with the classic comfort of Calvin Klein. The best part is that you won’t have to hide these dresses at the back of your closet come fall — they will fit in perfectly with the rest of your wardrobe, from layering for work to a night out.
