Brian Atwood made a name for himself with his sexy shoe designs and quickly established a steady and strong following.

Now, the footwear designer has unveiled that a mini-line of clutches and minaudieres will join his collection for Spring. The collection is comprised of just four styles, but by Fall 2012, Atwood wants to expand into larger silhouettes. Handbags will also be released under his previous expansion, B by Brian Atwood label.

The bags will be priced between $1,050 to $1,850 and will be sold exclusively on Gilt.com. Atwood’s heels are show stoppers—if the handbags have the same impact, other designers better watch out. —APRILLE BROOKER
