TALKING SHOES with Bjorn Nasett

He took some time out of his busy schedule to talk shoes with RunningWithHeels.com.
Comfort of cripple? Comfort for sure. When shoes are crippling, people seem to walk so awkwardly. It’s painful to see! I don’t care how beautiful a shoe is, if you have to be carried down the stairs (Hello Anna Wintour!) they are only for photo shoots. But that doesn’t mean comfortable shoes can’t be stylish.
Who’s your favorite shoe designer? For women, I love Marc Jacobs, Michael Kors and of course Jimmy Choo. Personally, I have a lot of shoes by a company called Cydwoq. They’re made in America, comfortable and pretty fashionable as well. I also like Diesel, Converse, Blackstone and U-Roads that are handmade in Europe out of recycled materials. Someone actually took a picture of my oxford lace up’s by them at Mercedes Benz Fashion Week!
If you were a shoe, what would you be? Definitely I would be some sort of Converse trainer. I have some black patent and white leather ones by Jack Purcell that I absolutely live in. They bring a “Ramones” vibe to jeans and t-shirts that I just love!
When it comes to style, what is your biggest shoe pet peeve? Shoes that are too stiff. I hate having to “break in” shoes. That just sounds so barbaric!
Shoe or outfit first? I always feel that a great pair of shoes will complement anything you wear. However with that said, I guess shoes and accessories have always been number one and have a great impact on my choices of what I’m wearing on any given day.

My spouse and i were really fulfilled when John managed to deal with his basic research through the ideas he grabbed from your own blog. It’s not at all simplistic to just always be handing out instructions most people may have been making money from. We really take into account we have got the blog owner to appreciate for that. The type of explanations you made, the simple website menu, the friendships your site help foster – it is mostly powerful, and it’s aiding our son in addition to the family reason why this topic is pleasurable, and that is very fundamental. Many thanks for all the pieces!
