STYLE WATCH: FALLing into Cable knits
I’m always a sucker for knitwear – my overstocked closet can attest to that, so this coming Fall I’ve been delighted to see a comeback of the ubiquitous cable knit.
More recentl,y thin knits and bundles of layering have been the winter woolly of choice. I’m pleased to report that fashion marches on and the cable knit is popping its head above the parapet once more.
Choose wisely as the bulkier cable styles can amp up your volume in a bad way. Dip your toe into the trend by opting for some cable ankle warmers to keep your winter booties warm.
It comes in a vast array of muted tones from various designers, but a savvy chick might want to pin hers sites on this seasons camel, thus giving you the double whammy of not only scoring in the style stakes but also showing off your grasp of the Falls color trends. — SARA DELANEY

Not sure I’ll be attempting cable knit ankle warmers, but will definitely be investing in some of the jumpers this winter – at least I know I’ll get value for money in them with our weather this side of the pond. I might even dig out my knitting needles…..!!!

The cooler days always signal the start of the sweater season for me and I love your take on cable knits! Have always coveted the “fisherman” variety and will definitely purchase a chunky sweater to keep me warm and chic in Stockholm. Will pair with my favorite jeans and boots!
