FALL 2010 TRENDS: Go Green
I like the military trend as much as the next girl, but there’s something slightly irritating about the full on look that’s beginning to frazzle me out. The epaulettes thing is not too tricky to keep under control, but who has time to deal with all those buttons on a chilly day let alone the braiding stuff, forget it.
So how’s a girl to show a nod to this trend without getting short-circuited by all the paraphernalia?
The answer is just go green. Not that summer zesty lime green that you can’t move for in interior shops, but the quietly chic olive green that’s about to infuse the stores.
Work a ruffled dress or a classic pea coat and pair with neutrals for that urban guerilla chick feel. You can turn the mood equestrian by adding buttery soft riding boots. SARA DELANEY

I’m with Eryl Jenkins…olive is quite draining to the face. Love the boots though!

I am really liking the boots and have to admit, I do like a bit of olive (preferably at the end of a cocktail stick floating in a martini) – nice alternative to the ubiquitous black!
