Delman Fall ’10 Preview
Delman, known for classic and sophisticated styles, did not disappoint with its Fall collection, but it also didn’t limit itself to just one age group. Instead, the brand deftly created styles that would appeal to a younger generation of 30-somethings (if not a bit younger) outfitted with high heels, high over-the-knee shafts, or fashion-forward silhouettes. Of course there were the shoes for their core consumer, a woman with a few more years under her belt, but the style was still there – heels were just lowered, toe shapes were less dramatic, and looks were more classic.
Then there were styles that covered the gamut – a wedge boot lined with shearling, classic riding boots, and our favorite of the collection for its wow-factor: a woven ponyhair loafer that was luxe and preppy all at the same time. We also adored the riding boots with criss-cross lacing up the back, as well as a charming bootie with straps across the front complete with just a touch of Western flair.
