SPRING FORWARD: All about Spring fashion
Spring is almost here! You’ve already seen the fashion editors talking about leather jackets and artful prints but we all know that shoe gals want to know: what about the shoes?!? Never fear! Here are the hottest spring footwear trends you will want to slip into ASAP!
Oxfords
Kate Moss slipped out in a snappy pair of Repettos after the death of Michael Jackson last year and ever since it’s the street shoe of choice for every hip woman. One of the biggest trends of the season, they’re more versatile than you think: miniskirts, cropped pants and skinny denim will make the look along with multitudes of other options. For our money, we’re fond of the J.Crew Camden Leather Brogues ($250)
Clogs
Karl Lagerfeld sent this shoe down the runway for Chanel’s Spring/Summer collection and the editors jumped on it immediately. More sleek and high fashion than previous versions, look for jazzy embellishment and platform insteps for a leggy look. We’re partial to the rockin’ Sam Edelman "Flair" ($150).
Espadrilles
This 70’s staple looks like it’s back for another season in cool embellished and leather styles. Always an amazing casual option, add a maxi dress to make a boho glam evening statement. Available at all price points, check out the wallet-friendly and chic Juicy Couture "Giana" Strappy Espadrilles ($195)
Peep Toe Ankle Boots
The ankle boot shoes no signs of slowing down but in order to keep the look current season, designers are cutting the toes out for urban chic appeal. One of the hottest looks of the season, go ahead and book your pedicures now because you’ll definitely want a few pairs. We’re partial to these sleek Maison Martin Margiela Peep-Toe Leather Boots ($1045).
T-straps
A classic shoe from old Hollywood glamour, the T-strap is back and ready to conquer. Here’s a great tip: the thicker the strap, the more emphasis on your calves. Ladies with slightly larger calves should go with a thin ankle strap and a nude huge to make your legs look long and shapely. A universally appealing version is the Stuart Weitzman T-Strap Platform Sandal ($385)

Cutout Wedges
Urban glamour at its best, it’s the ultimate city girl shoe: sturdy wedge heel with a sexy cutout front. Look for these sandal-wedge hybrids to turn up with satin shorts and chic crossbody totes all over the place. We’re partial to these fabulous Alexander Wang "Eliza" Cut-Out Wedge Mules ($525)
Candy Colors and Neon Hues
Per spring art-inspired 80’s revival, neon and candy hues are huge for the season. Just the right amount of pop to any look without going into full-on MTV-generation revival, we suggest these vibrant Tory Burch Wrap Up Leather Sandals ($325)
Military and Athletic-Inspired
The military trend is huge this season and due to Alexander Wang’s spring collection becoming a worldwide phenomenon, athletic-inspired looks will permeate fashion and footwear everywhere. Luckily, this wunderkind designer has given us two pairs of shoes that meet both demands and we’re calling it now: look for the "Freja" Laced Zip Stiletto Boot ($675) and the "Mirte" Laced Zip Flat Boot ($595) to be all the rage.
So make your list and check it twice, then get out there and shop for your mood. There are tons of options out there for those who are naughty and nice. Have fun, ladies!

I think the spring season is going to offer some of the most exciting styles we have seen in a long, long time. These styles are really great for the young at heart.
