Celebrating Tru Renewal with The Real Housewives of New York City
The Equinox Spa Party featuring Tru Renewal hosted by Ramona Singer was a night of fun and celebration for her newest skincare line but didn’t stop the real drama from unfolding. Singer is not only one of "The Real Housewives of New York City" on Bravo Television, but an astute business woman with a passion for skin care.
Soon after our arrival to the posh upper east side Equinox, Jill Zarin and Kelly Killoren Bensimon (and a noticeably absent Bethenny Frankel) arrived TOGETHER and were attached at the hip for most of the evening. Could they be best friends now? Alex McCord, Simon van Kempen, and LuAnn de Lesseps were all in attendance to “support” Singer and film an upcoming episode of the show. While they were all throwing out jabs at one another throughout the night, it was nothing compared to Jill and Alex both ending up in tears after all of the ladies got in a heated discussion about…………………(well I don’t want to ruin it for you, you will just have to watch this season to find out!)
Singer worked with a world-renowned chemist and top New York City doctor to create her line. The key ingredient to garner skin-firming results is green algae. "After using the product for just 6 weeks, all of my friends noticed a difference in my appearance," Singer notes. "My skin looks and feels healthier; it really is more vibrant and glowing!" This event held even more importance to Ramona than just excellent skincare and beauty because a percentage of all spa treatments benefited YOU CAN THRIVE, a charity to support breast cancer survivors.
Tru Renewal is also great for men and Ramona talked to us about her husband’s love for the products: “He steals my jar, I have to fight for it. He likes the repair cream because us goes on really smooth and nice.”
A VERY special thanks to Dana Steer from Equinox and Sheri Bardot from Equinox Spa for working hard and ensuring that we had a great time all night!
