Levi’s Turns 140 Years Old
Presenting A Cultural Timeline
It’s been 140 years since Levi’s first debuted its’ iconic 501 denim jeans. Don’t they grow up so fast? It seems like just yesterdayread more

I was lucky enough to be invited to be a part of the Style Coalition’s top-secret video campaign shot on Monday that will be released in a few weeks, along with numerous other notable women in online media. Part of the project (and excitement) was undergoing a transformation at the DEX New York Studios on 224 W 30th in Manhattan. (DEX is amazing, but the proof is in the pictures below!) All participants had a before and after shoot where…well…the before was sans makeup and anything other than jeans and a white tank or tee, and the after was post-hair-and-makeup plus a fabulous outfit. (I went for the fabulous shoes, a pair of sky-high red patent Giuseppe Zanotti’s, for obvious reasons).
With as much modesty as one can reasonably have in this situation, I ask you to take a look at the amazing work done by my hair stylist, Scott Wasserman, and my makeup artist, Altjana Banja. Maybe it’s because I’ve never had hair and makeup done besides one time for a wedding, but I cannot believe how close they came to transforming me into a movie star! Thanks guys!
(And a special thanks to Thomas Cantley who provided his studio and talented photography skills!)

P.s. – Stay tuned for the final video…
