Marc Jacobs for Louis Vuitton Debuts in NYC Today
What do you get when you pair a fashion powerhouse with a forward-thinking, outside-of-the-box-thinking designer who pushes the limits? If it's Louis Vuitton and Marc Jacobs, it's a match made in fashion heaven.
Today the Spring collection paying homage to Marc's 2000 collaboration with deceased 80's designer Stephen Sprouse and the French label makes its much anticipated debut at the Louis Vuitton store on Greene St. in NYC.
Graffiti in eye-searing shades of neon covers bags, shoes, scarves and more and, if the accounts of responses from fashion week are to be believed, we haven't a doubt in our minds that the collection will only furher cement his title as creative genius. Oh, and Louis Vuitton has no doubt hit the jackpot, recession be damned.
If you can't make it to the store yourself, visit WeLoveSprouse.com to see the collection. We would also recommend the very revealing article in this month's Harper's Bazaar. Here's to another success Marc!
