Diavolina

As Morgan and I ventured out to Beverly Hills in search of a few specific boutiques, we were pleasantly surprised when we came across a few gems that were not on our list. Upon making our way to an actual planned stop on our trip we stumbled upon Diavolina. Actually, from across the street the shiny gold mannequins in the store windows caught our eye and then we immediately noticed the shoes on their feet. A quick check of our agenda confirmed this was definitely not on our list, but certainly a welcomed detour.
First, I’ll start by saying I loved the store’s cheetah print carpet and pink ceiling… so chichi! But more than that, I LOVED THE SHOES! Diavolina’s shelves are carefully lined with shoes from about 15 brands season after season. Women 16 to 60 shop the store for everything from $80 flip-flops to $1500 boots… they carry a little bit of everything for everyone. Take a seat on one of the leather sofas in the middle of the boutique and try beautiful heels on until you can’t possibly slip on another pair… I don’t think it will take you long here. Although we didn’t venture to the back of the store (We were enraptured by the shoes and I fell head over heels in love with a pair of red John Galliano insanely high heels) there was quite a large selection of clothing, both beautiful and expensive I’m sure.
While there, we chatted with a few of the women working that day. They were very welcoming considering our impromptu stop by the store and very accommodating with our desire to take pictures inside. Next time I’m in Beverly Hills, Diavolina will be one of my first stops.
Oh, and if you’re asking yourself about the name Diavolina, it means little devil. Evelyn, the boutique’s owner, was lovingly called that by her father.
Here’s a list of designers Diavolina carries: Chloe, John Galliano, Pierre Hardy, Marc Jacobs, Ernesto Esposito, Dolce Vita, Givenchy, Luciano Padovan, Claudia Ciuti, Giambatista Valli, Laurence, Dacade and Jinny Kim.
