Loriana's Shoe Boutique

Loriana's Shoe Boutique | Washington Town Center | 2360 Rt 33, Suite 111-A | Robbinsville, NJ | 08691

Located in a quaint shopping center in Robbinsville, NJ, Loriana’s shoe boutique is certainly not a place be missed if you find yourself in the area. Not only is her store brand new, it’s fresh, fun, and has a wonderfully unique assortment of both shoes and purses. We’re not talking unique as in artsy-fartsy styles that you’ll never wear, either. Far from it! Instead, Loriana’s carries high-end and exceptional quality shoes from brands you’re not likely to find in any local department stores.

Loriana, the cheerful and impeccably dressed owner, understands that as a new shoe-boutique owner it’s almost impossible to compete with the ‘big guys’ on selection. Instead she has utilized the freedom she has (and that they often don’t) to stock brands that may have smaller runs and be lesser-known, but that are no less impressive than those you’d find at a Neiman Marcus or a Bloomingdales.

For instance, she carries the chic and stylish brand Te Casan which is hard to find outside of New York City. The shoes are elegant, expertly made, and limited edition. She also carries Olivia Rose Tal, another NY based brand which has the distinction of being designed and manufactured in New York City. That alone should give you an idea of the price level, but for those who appreciate quality and individual style, it’s a wonderful brand that can be hard to find. Other brands include Costa Blanca, Andrea Carramo, and, perhaps both my and Loriana’s favorite, Mary Kyri. Definitely keep an eye out for this up-and-coming Aussie designer!

Loriana’s level of taste is evident in the carefully edited selection she has, and she’s chosen styles for both the professional woman and the woman who attends parties (or at least likes to play dress-up). The prices reflect the quality and on average range from between $275 – $345 for shoes, and $425 – $650 for boots. While this may make the typical soccer mom want to stick to the strip malls, for those who appreciate unique style and are willing to spend a little extra money on something they’ll wear for years, this boutique is a refreshing option.

Another reason to visit? You’ve most likely never been inside a store that has a nearly neon green wall and actually pulls it off! Directly behind the register you'll find a bright lime green section that features two oddly complementary shoe paintings by the talented artist Mark Schwartz. In fact, the store is practically a gallery for his work as many more paintings are displayed throughout. Perhaps a gallery is what Loriana was going for because even the shoes are exhibited like artwork, lined up neatly on lighted shelves throughout the store or set on glass tables. Purses, clutches, and sometimes martini glasses often sit next to them creating a very stylish still-life. Overall, the store has a chic, quirky ambiance that makes it hard to leave, and even harder to leave empty-handed.
